Frequently asked

Questions,
clearly answered.

The basics

What does Axis Bio Lab sell?

+

A curated catalog of research-grade peptides — HPLC-verified, mass-spec confirmed, lot-traceable — manufactured and tested exclusively by our US partner, Telehealth Peptides. All products are sold strictly for laboratory research use only. Nothing we sell is a drug, food, cosmetic, or dietary supplement, and nothing we sell is intended for human or animal consumption.

Who is this for?

+

Qualified researchers and research institutions performing in vitro or pre-clinical work. If you are not a researcher, this catalog is not for you, and you should consult a licensed medical professional for any health question.

Is any of this legal to buy?

+

Research chemicals sold for in vitro investigation are legal to acquire by qualified researchers in most US jurisdictions, provided they are clearly labeled research-use-only, not sold for human consumption, and not marketed with therapeutic claims. Some jurisdictions restrict specific compounds — see our shipping page for the restricted region list. If you are uncertain about your own regulatory situation, please consult a qualified attorney before ordering.

Purity and testing

How is purity measured?

+

Reversed-phase HPLC on a C18 column with UV detection at 214 nm. Purity is reported as percent peak area integrated across the main peak. Every lot we ship meets a minimum specification of ≥99% HPLC purity.

How is identity confirmed?

+

Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. The observed [M+H]+ mass must match the theoretical monoisotopic mass within 1 Da before a lot is released.

What other tests do you run?

+

Karl Fischer titration for water content, ion chromatography for counterion fraction (acetate or TFA), nitrogen-based peptide content determination, and LAL endotoxin assay for applicable SKUs. Every test result is disclosed on the certificate of analysis.

Where are the COAs?

+

Every lot has a downloadable COA on its product page, and the full library is searchable at /coas by product name or lot number. Historical lots remain archived permanently.

Shipping and fulfillment

How do you ship?

+

Orders ship cold-chain from the Telehealth Peptides fulfillment facility in plain outer cartons. Temperature-sensitive SKUs ship overnight with phase-change gel packs. Tracking is live from the moment the carrier scans the label.

Do you ship internationally?

+

At launch, we ship within the United States only. International shipping is on the roadmap once we complete per-country research chemical compliance review.

What states are restricted?

+

We maintain a current restricted-states list on the shipping page. The list is updated as state-level regulations on specific peptides change.

Payments and accounts

How does checkout work?

+

Checkout is secured by Waave, our high-risk merchant processor. Before payment, the researcher reaffirms research-use-only intent via a required attestation checkbox. The timestamp and IP of every attestation are logged with the order.

Do you accept crypto?

+

Crypto checkout (BTC, ETH, USDC) is on the roadmap and will be added alongside the existing card flow.

Research-use-only framing

Why don't your product pages describe human benefits?

+

Because nothing we sell is approved as a drug, food, cosmetic, or supplement in the jurisdictions where we operate. Describing human benefits would reclassify the business as an unapproved-drug marketer, which would be both illegal and irresponsible. Instead, we describe what the published research literature has investigated, cite PMIDs, and let the researcher draw their own conclusions.

Can I ask your support team for dosing advice?

+

No. Our support team cannot, and will not, provide human dosing guidance, reconstitution protocols for human use, or therapeutic recommendations. We can answer questions about stability, storage, lot history, COAs, and literature references.
